Instruments with OAS (Open Art System) were the first instruments, which through the use of today's software can be upgraded in sound and function.   They are compatible with today's computer and the internet world.

You can connect direct peripheral devices (e.g. Printer) and use third party software (e.g. Akai samples/VST instruments)

In normal operation the computer steps into the background and makes the usage simple and comfortable.  The OAS instruments come with hundreds of the best sounds you have possibly ever heard.

Wersi were always known for their famous drawbar sound.  The OAS brings the drawbar sound to life.  Every instrument has a fantastic real drawbar section, besides the analogue and Galaxy sound you can also choose the digital drawbar sounds or the OX7 or the Native Instruments B4 VST TM Software.

Wersi is also proud to present their Real Drums, where the rhythm is no longer created by a machine, it is a live recording of a professional drummer who plays the various rhythms including variations, fills and breaks.  These rhythms are more lifelike and sound more authentic than any other instrument on the market.

In addition they offer a wide variety of accompaniment styles and you can use MIDI and Wave files to complete a perfect arrangement. All adjustments (incl. sounds, styles, midi - or audio files and even videos, lyrics, effects...) can be stored in up to 2500 presets.  At the touch of a button all these presets are easily accessible.

Multi Track recording as Midi file or Audio Hard Disk recording is possible with every OAS instrument.  Just produce your own C.D's by pressing a single button.  It has never been easier to be a star!

Version 7

Version 7 is now available for all OAS instruments.  If you wish to upgrade to version 7 - please send us an e-mail to sales@harmony-music.co.uk stating which version you currently have, which processor is in your instrument and how much memory you have - and we'll e-mail you back with the cost of the upgrade.

OAS Software 7 has a fantastic quality of sound and an enormous flexibility.  These are the two main criteria for the new sound generating system.  5 different technologies are responsible for this new generation of sound.  

You will now be able to choose from an unbelievable amount of sounds and effects from the brand new effects section, separate effects (reverb, delay, chorus) are now available for the accompaniment section, sequencer and drums.  These new effects are delay, reverb, phasing, wah wah, distortion, compressor, flanger...

Besides the improvements in sound quality, a high value has been set on the quality and amount of effects with version 7.

In addition to the top tones of version 6, there are 300 new sounds on version 7, which means that there are now more than 700 sounds on board for you to use at the touch of a button.

Thanks to the new sound synthesis you can play real synth sounds for the first time and enjoy lots of fantastic guitars and modern tones.
